Canal 212, a company registered in the Casablanca Trade Register, whose registered office is at 64 Av. de l’Hermitage, Casablanca 20540, MOROCCO, represented by Ms Mariam Wahibi as Managing Director, publishes the digital platform dedicated to the Moroccan diaspora, www.canal212.ma, hereinafter the “Site”. It provides access to various information, together with complementary services and products described below.
These terms of use (the “Terms”), governed by Moroccan law, regulate use of the website and its various services, including news, guides and utilities. Browsing the Site and/or subscribing to a service, such as newsletters or notifications, constitutes the user’s express and unconditional acceptance of the Terms.
If these Terms are not complied with, Canal 212 reserves the right to take any measure to protect its interests and, in particular, to enforce them. For that purpose, Canal 212 may bring civil and/or criminal proceedings against the user.
Any contrary condition not accepted by Canal 212 is not enforceable against it. Canal 212’s failure to invoke any of these Terms does not waive its right to invoke them later.
2. Declaration (CNDP)
The personal data collected through this website, including contact forms, newsletter subscriptions and guide downloads, has been declared to the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP). Users may obtain the necessary information from that body.
3. Domain name registration
www.canal212.ma is a registered and reserved domain name, hereinafter the “Website”.
4. Notice to users
Canal 212 provides users with access to this Website in accordance with these Terms. Users undertake to comply with and respect them.
5. Use of the Site
Canal 212 created the website CANAL212.MA and uses its best efforts to ensure that the information published on it, including news for Moroccans living abroad, flight schedules and administrative procedures, is accurate and up to date. It reserves the right to correct the content at any time and at its sole discretion.
6. Presentation of the Site
The Site offers users, in particular:
- Access to content and information on the Site, including diaspora news, investment guides and advice on settling in Morocco.
- Various services providing specific practical content, such as weather, prayer times, on-duty pharmacies and train schedules.
- Downloads of exclusive content, such as the Marhaba Guide.
The services include, in particular:
- Free services allowing Moroccans living abroad to stay informed, download practical guides and interact with the community.
- Subscriptions to topic-based newsletters or web push notifications.
Users are informed that free access to the Site’s content and services is financed by revenue from advertising displayed in those spaces. They therefore accept the display of advertising on the Site and any applications. As publisher of the Site, Canal 212 is free to sell its advertising spaces to advertisers of its choice. Users acknowledge that they have no rights over those spaces and undertake not to make any claim or bring any action in that respect.
7. Access to the Site
The Website provides access to various information and services. Canal 212 cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Website. It is subject only to a best-efforts obligation regarding the operation and continuity of the service. Nor can it be held liable for events arising from force majeure. Use of this website is exclusively at the user’s risk, and Canal 212 provides no warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.
8. Information available on the Website
Information obtained by users on the Site or through services offered by CANAL 212, whether on the Site, by email or by text message, does not give rise to any warranty from Canal 212. All information, data and advice published on the Site, particularly concerning administrative procedures or investment, is drawn from the best available sources and provided for information purposes.
The provision of this data must not in any way be regarded as specific legal or financial advice.
The photographs and texts reproduced to illustrate the articles or guides are not contractually binding. The Website therefore cannot be held liable for errors in those photographs or texts. The content offered complies with the Moroccan legislation in force. Canal 212 cannot be held liable for non-compliance with the legislation of the user’s country of residence or connection.
Canal 212 disclaims all liability:
- For any imprecision, inaccuracy or omission in information available on the Site.
- For any damage resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party that alters information or material made available on the Site.

A link from CANAL 212 to another website therefore constitutes neither a recommendation nor approval of that website or its content. Users must exercise judgement and critical thinking when using this information. Users and visitors may not create a hyperlink to the Site without Canal 212’s prior written authorisation.

The CANAL 212 Website is a creative work protected by intellectual property rights. The Website and all its constituent elements, including trademarks, texts, illustrations, logos, company names, products and photographs, are the exclusive property of Canal 212. Reproduction of documents published on the Website is authorised solely for information purposes and strictly personal, private use.
Except in the circumstances described above, any other reproduction and/or representation of the Website requires Canal 212’s prior written authorisation.
Users warrant that any information they submit to CANAL 212, in whatever form, including testimonials and comments, does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights or other applicable law. By submitting information, users transfer to Canal 212 all rights to use, reproduce, distribute or modify it on its media.
11. Personal data
Data entered for services offered by the Site, such as newsletter subscriptions, Marhaba Guide downloads and contact requests, is intended exclusively for Canal 212’s internal use and the management of its community. However, Canal 212 may entrust this data to partners acting as processors for the technical management of the Site.
Under Law 09-08 concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, users have rights of access, rectification and objection to the processing of their personal data, exercisable with Canal 212.

The Site uses cookies to generate statistics on Website use, such as the most visited pages, visit frequency and geographical location. Cookies also allow us to adapt the presentation of our Website to your device’s display preferences, such as language and resolution, and offer location-based services such as weather and prayer times. Session cookies are retained no longer than the browsing session, while preference cookies may be retained according to the settings chosen by the user through the consent banner.
