MCV is an online service provided by the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration. It provides information on:
- The formalities to be completed for the customs clearance of a motor vehicle or a two-wheeled motorbike with an engine capacity exceeding 80 cm³;
- The amount of duties and taxes payable;
- The customs offices where motor vehicles are cleared through customs.
MCV has a simulator that calculates the duties and taxes payable for the customs clearance of a passenger car registered abroad (under general rules). It also allows users to carry out simulations specific to particular cases:
- MREs who meet the criteria for the 90 per cent allowance;
- MREs are eligible for the three (03)-year age allowance for passenger cars, granted as part of a permanent return to Morocco.
